Date Announced for Atlanta Telecom Professional of the Year Awards Gala

ATP to honor Atlanta’s most influential movers and shakers in the telecom industry

June 14, 2010—Atlanta—Association of Telecom Professionals (ATP) invites the public to join them on November 9, 2010, to recognize and celebrate Atlanta’s best and brightest in telecommunications.

This year, the ATP hosts its seventh annual gala event to recognize nominees for their exceptional contribution in leadership, growth, collaboration, innovation, and community involvement.

In addition to the Atlanta Telecom Professional of the Year award, the ATP also presents awards for outstanding leadership and innovation within the telecom industry. And in 2005, ATP added an Enterprise category to recognize nominees that leveraged Atlanta’s telecom community through the application of technology to advance their enterprise.

The continued growth and success of telecom and communications in Atlanta relies on the ability to attract and retain top executives and thought leaders. It is in this spirit that we recognize these individuals for their contributions to the industry and community at-large at the Atlanta Telecom Professional of the Year Award Gala.

About ATP
ATP is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the continued professional development and network growth of the telecommunications community. ATP was created for the purpose of providing an environment for networking, exchanging important industry information, and the recognition of excellence within the international telecom community.

Each month ATP meets the professional development needs of our members by drawing upon telecom and communications thought leaders to share their knowledge and experiences. It is through this exchange of ideas that we provide an avenue for networking to our members in the wireline, wireless, media, technology, and enterprise communities.

The Atlanta chapter of ATP will continue operations as usual while helping interested parties in other cities replicate the success it enjoys in Atlanta.
