Chris Sweigart
Manager of Digital Content, 11Alive

Chris is 11Alive's Manager of Digital Content and is responsible for all technology in the newsroom including digital marketing, mobile marketing, social media and content delivery platforms..  Previously, his reporting focused on the "jobs" and "technology" beats, helping Atlantans find work and understand technology. Chris joined 11Alive as an 11Alive.com Web Producer in October 2007.

  Chris came to 11Alive from WRBL-TV in Columbus, Georgia. As a reporter there, his work too him all the way to Iraq. He was embedded with the Army?s 3rd Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division, based out of Fort Benning. Aside from covering Fort Benning and the Army, he also covered city politics. Chris often contributed articles for WRBL?s newspaper partner, The Opelika-Auburn News.

After two years as a reporter at WRBL, Chris was promoted to Web Site Coordinator for WRBL.com and OANow.com. Prior to his work in Columbus, Chris worked for FalconsVision as an Associate Producer/Reporter, covering the Atlanta Falcons for the 2003 season.

Chris graduated from Oglethorpe University in Atlanta with a degree in Politics. He is still active in the Atlanta Area Alumni Association for his fraternity, Delta Sigma Phi. Chris attends and is active at Mary Our Queen Catholic Church in Peachtree Corners.

Chris grew up in Duluth, Georgia and attended Duluth High School. When he's not covering the news, he can be found on the golf course, taking in a good baseball or hockey game, or hanging out with friends.

Lee W. Crump
Group Vice President, Rollins, Inc.

Lee W. Crump is the CIO and Group Vice President of Business Support for Rollins, Inc. Rollins, based in Atlanta, has annual revenues of $1.2 billion and is the parent company of Orkin Pest Control, and many other well known regional pest control companies. In his current capacity, he manages a team of 125+ professionals and is responsible for all Information Technology (IT), the Program Management Office (PMO), and the Field Administrative Support Group (FASG).

 

 

Todd Michaud
VP Information Technology, Focus Brands

Todd Michaud is the Vice President of Information Technology for FOCUS Brands, the franchisor and operator of over 3,200 ice cream stores, bakeries, restaurants, and cafes under the brand names Carvel®, Cinnabon®, Schlotzsky’s®, Moe’s Southwest Grill®, Seattle’s Best Coffee®, and Auntie Anne’s® Pretzels with the ultimate goal of helping Franchise Partners improve their operations and marketing efforts through technology.

Todd oversees the IT service delivery for FOCUS Brands as a whole, as well as each brand’s retail technology system. 

 

Ron Strachan
Senior Vice President & Chief Information Officer at WellStar Health System

Ron Strachan is Senior Vice President & CIO for WellStar Health System in Marietta, GA since March, 2008. Ron has been working in Information Technology for over 25 years with his primary focus on Healthcare IT for over 20 years. He has held positions of systems analyst, project manager, consultant, and CIO at firms including Kurt Salmon Associates, Price Waterhouse Coopers, The Detroit Medical Center, St. John's Health System (Michigan), Catholic Health Partners (Ohio), Matria Healthcare (Georgia), and HealthEast Care System (Minnesota). In addition, in 2007 he served as Chairman of the Board of CHIME (the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives) and is a long- term member of HIMSS (Healthcare Information Management Systems Society). He has also served as Chairman of the Board of Women's Advocates, the oldest organized shelter in the nation for women and children in crisis that is in St. Paul, and serves on the Century College Technology Curriculum Advisory Committee, also in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Ron received a Master of Science in Business from Central Michigan University. His undergraduate work in Computer Science and Business Administration was completed at Davenport University in Dearborn, Michigan. He has also attended post-graduate studies at Michigan State University. He has been a speaker at several information system vendor user groups and a guest faculty at the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Business Healthcare Information Technology Institute, University of St. Catherine’s HealthCare IT program, the CHIME CIO Boot Camp, and Minnesota HIMSS membership meetings.

Additionally, Ron has also achieved the distinction of CHIME Fellow and is a Certified Healthcare CIO.

 

Carrie Wheeler
Vice President, Information Technology Strategy & Planning
Cbeyond

Carrie A. Wheeler, Chief Information Officer, joined Cbeyond in 2009 and leads Cbeyond's Information Technology Strategy, Planning, Development, Billing and Corporate Systems teams. In this role, Carrie is responsible for strategic planning, capital budgeting and management, systems delivery release management and analysis, delivery of CRM, OSS, BI, Online applications and Corporate Systems.
