Michael Tasker is currently Director of Sales Operations for Premiere Global Services. As a B2B business development and technology professional, he has more than 15 years experience in Fortune 200 companies.

Michael began his career as a broadcast news videographer in Pittsburgh. In the ten years following graduate school, he held management positions in marketing and project management with United Parcel Service, UPS Professional Services, and UPS Supply Chain Solutions. To deepen his technology experience, he was hired as Strategic Technology Planning Manager at Southern Company where he developed a method to prioritize IT investments and implemented an IT Balanced Scorecard. After consulting for two start-up ventures, he was recruited to Siemens Energy and Automation as a senior marketing manager to assess and develop the consultative sales practice for process industries including: steel, oil & gas, paper, water, and mining.

Michael received a BA degree in English and Communications from Waynesburg College and continued on to earn a Masters Degree in Professional Writing from Carnegie Mellon University, an MBA from Oglethorpe University, and a Masters Certificate in Project Management from ESI/George Washington University. Michael has served as the Director of Marketing for the Atlanta Telecom Professionals since 2004.
