Jon is an attorney at Friend, Hudak & Harris with over 11 years of experience in the communications industry first as an engineer and now as an attorney. Jon advises and represents telecommunications companies in transactional matters (including mergers, acquisitions, restructuring, and interconnection arrangements) and in regulatory matters before the FCC and state public service commissions. Jon also advises clients with respect to intellectual property matters.
Prior to joining Friend, Hudak & Harris, Jon spent eight years in Network Engineering at Home Depot where he designed, implemented, and supported Home Depot's enterprise data network, including data center networks, campus networks, store networks, and distribution center networks. At the time of his departure, Jon was the Lead Network Engineer responsible for Home Depot's approximately 2000 store network.
Jon earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Georgia Tech, his MBA from Georgia State University, and his law degree from Georgia State University. In addition to the ATP Board, Jon currently serves on the Technology Advisory Committee to the President of the State Bar of Georgia and serves as the Treasurer for the Omega Trust Association.
