Don is a partner in the Telecom Practice Team of Arnall Golden Gregory and serves as the practice leader of the team. His practice focuses on telecom transactional matters, such as mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and inter-carrier transactions. AGG assists clients in raising equity and debt financing, through IPOs, venture capital transactions, high-yield notes and senior secured lending transactions. Don also assists clients with telecom regulatory matters and general corporate advice.

From March 1988 through July 1991, Don was Senior Corporate Counsel of Contel Corporation, a publicly-held telecommunications company. He represented Contel in its acquisitions, divestitures and other strategic transactions.

Don has served several terms as co-chair of the Atlanta Chapter of the Federal Communications Bar Association and has been named as a “Georgia Super Lawyer” for Telecommunications. He received his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Georgia.
